NPD -How to join in
• by participating directly using an LVCnet connection ( if you are a London school) or via a fixed IP address

• by watching the videostream that will be ‘live’ throughout the conference on any broadband PC

.  by registering with JVCS (Janet Video Conferencing Service). Join by providing venue name. Speak to your RBC/ LA to register for free.

Using either of these methods, you will be able to watch, make comments and ask questions via the forum that is accessible via LGfL. The forum and videostream access details will be posted on the site during the week beginning 29th September 2008.

We regret that we cannot accept registrations from schools that use Click-to-Meet for videoconferencing.

Fill in the online registartion form here - your registration will be acknowledged. The final date for registration will be October 3rd 2008 by 3pm.

Helpful hints:

• any school can join the conference using both the vc set-up AND the streaming – you can also run more than one stream in each school

• the school ICT manager should be able to provide the details for any technical questions you may have.

The organisers will handle the technicalities of connecting everyone together – all you need to do is make sure that your vc set-up is switched on by 08.30 on the day and that THE MICROPHONE IS MUTED.
